Instructions for private family court assessments are often made months and years into proceedings once things have become stuck and very conflicted.  

Whilst a full psychological assessment is often needed, sometimes a psychological perspective via consultation can be helpful to keep proceedings moving and resolve issues of conflict quickly with reduced costs and less intrusion for the child and parents. 

Dr Quicke offers consultations to professionals involved in family court proceedings (solicitors, social workers, guardians) to give a psychological perspective on the child's need within the context of the court issues without having to instruct an in-depth assessment.

• 1 hours of background reading 
• 1-2 hours psychological consultation 
• Brief summary report with psychological opinion.
