Working as an expert in the family courts can feel isolating and daunting at times. These issues put a lot of brilliant Clinical Psychologists off this type of work. We get very little training on expert witness work on the doctorate!
Becky is passionate about supporting other Clinical Psychologists in the family courts. The children and families need our skills to help them move forward in the right direction and this work can be rewarding in many ways.
Post doctoral training (BPS or Bond Solon) is essential but following that, we need a supervision ‘home’ to return to so we feel safe to reflect on our assessments and formulations of these families.
Becky has been working in this arena for many years and can offer you supervision to help you feel confident and clear in your assessments and reports.
